Janeiro
An important figure in new Portuguese music, Janeiro makes his Madeira debut at this year's L Concerts. With four albums and numerous concerts in iconic venues, this multidisciplinary and multi-instrumentalist artist has been highly praised by critics and audiences alike. In 2015, he released his debut EP "Janeiro," and in 2018, he gained national recognition with his participation in the Festival da Canção, where he performed the song "(sem título)," which quickly surpassed one million streams. Recorded in his improvised home studio, it highlights his influences of fado and jazz, as well as electronic R&B. He has performed on some of Portugal's most important stages, such as NOS em D'Bandada, NOS Alive, Belém Art Fest, Bons Sons, and Vodafone Mexefest, with appearances by Ana Bacalhau and Salvador Sobral. Throughout his career, Janeiro has built a solid fan base both in Portugal and internationally through live performances and album releases that reflect his artistic evolution.
