Recently collaborating and touring as vocalist for Norweigen electronic duo Royksopp and creating his third record in Berlin, Jamie Irrepressible is a vocalist, composer, multi- instrumentalist, songwriter, producer and visual artist who has released two critically acclaimed albums and two EPs thus far with his project The Irrepressibles.
The single “In the Shirt” was one of the viral themes of 2021 on social media, reaching a total of 170 million streams. It is also possible to find many themes of the band in several films, cult series and cinema.
The first album Mirror Mirror - a Bowie-style glam-rock fusion, received the best reviews from the specialized press, The Guardian called it "theatrical and very different, a ripe, colourful riposte to all that is Cowell”. The second album, Nude, was equally acclaimed by both critics and peers, receiving 4 stars by the well-known newspaper The Independent and was described by The Quietus as a "remarkably varied and unpredictable album".
It will be one of the biggest formations that have ever performed at the L Concerts , in a concert that will have 8 musicians on stage. A luxury closing not to be missed.
