André Santos invites Manuela Azevedo
“Another year in which I am lucky and privileged to play on the most incredible stage in the universe. And in this edition I decided to gather the courage to invite someone with whom I had wanted to share the stage for many years, the wonderful and incomparable Manuela Azevedo. Starting a new partnership is always a bit dizzying - will it work? - but right from the first meeting, with Manuela's tranquility and uncomplicatedness, I felt it was going to be a fun trip. On the 9th of August we will be there, in the idyllic gardens of the Estalagem, sharing with you what we have been preparing over the last few months.” Andre Santos
It is already a tradition at the L Concerts, a night in which the well-known Madeiran guitarist André Santos is the host and invites musicians of national reference to step on the stage of the Estalagem. This year, he performs once again with one of the great names in Portuguese music, Manuela Azevedo, lead singer of Clâ.
Both musicians need no introduction, André Santos is the regional artist with the greatest national projection, in addition to his solo work he has worked with national reference artists such as Salvador Sobral, Carlos Bica, Teresa Salgueiro, among many others.
Manuela Azevedo, is one of the biggest names in Portuguese music, lead singer of the emblematic band Clâ, with 9 original albums published and a long career of more than three decades. Alongside his work with Clã, she also collaborates with other artists and projects, from Brigada Victor Jara to Ornatos Violeta, with emphasis on his participation in the Humans, in the Caríssimas Canções project, by Sérgio Godinho, and “deixem o Pimba em paz “, created by Bruno Nogueira.
