Jéssica Gaspar
In her European debut, singer, composer, performer and visual artist. Jéssica creates works and performances that honor the memories of the Afro-Brazilian population.
In 2022, Jéssica made her musical debut with the singles Capim Dourado and Vão Ter Que Pagar. The following year, she released her first EP, AMOR, and, in 2024, she presented the single Brisa, a contagious afro house song in partnership with Maz and Ant.dot, which has been winning over the public and has already surpassed the 4 million listener mark on Spotify, creating numerous partnerships with artists from several countries and a worldwide hit, having been played at major international festivals.
With a powerful and velvety voice, Jéssica captivates with her unique beauty and striking presence. Her music results in both an organic and electronic sound, moving from MPB to afro house. She recently re-recorded two classics of Brazilian music for the series Cidade de Deus, which became the main theme of the Salvador Carnival, with Bloco Ókanbí.The artist has performed in important cultural venues, such as Sesc Pompeia, Virada Cultural in São Paulo, Circo Voador (RJ), among many others.
Jéssica Gaspar received recognition from the Ilú Obá Institute of Education, Culture and Black Art as a voice and black artist necessary for Brazil in the 21st century. Her work is a beautiful encounter with Musicality; Corporeality; Axé; Memory and Love, from Afro House to MPB. Jéssica Gaspar is without a doubt one of the greatest references of Afro House in Brazil and will make her European debut at the first Concerto L of 2025.
