The L Concerts likes to challenge the concept of music, this concert is a good example.
Kristoffer has redefined the use of tuba and it’s role in a band. From its traditional role as the low-end in symphony orchestras and Dixieland bands, Kristoffer has taken the instrument to a new direction, filling the position as the ultra low end in metal- and noise bands. With a bunch of electronics and huge amps, Kristoffer’s tuba sounds like a low-end monster and a high pitched squeal at the same time.
With an education from the famous jazz conservatory in Trondheim, and as a member of bands like YODOK, Pelbo, Trondheim Jazz Orchestra, microtub, Sunswitch and Highasakite, he has toured continuously around the world the past 12 years. He has won 3 Norwegian Grammys and been nominated 7 times.
Kristoffer Lo is one of the most respect composers of Norway and he will do is the first concert in Portugal in the L Concerts, a night to feel the universe and redefine the concept of music.
